Over 45 years ago, a friend provided me with a photo and a challenge to “Hey, paint this”. Upon recently finding the photo, I could not recall from where the image was located, but my best friend told me that artificial intelligence could refresh my memory if I fed a copy of the photo to my computer. Lo and behold the image is from Babcock State Park in West Virginia. Well, this 30″ x 24″ canvas features my very first waterfalls, a few “artistic licenses” as Grace calls them – and a whole lotta paint – primarily because I felt compelled to paint the trees three different times in order to “get them right”! Be sure to check out the progression video!
