Painted from a photograph taken by my Mother, this work is overall quite dark but gave me an opportunity to work with a combination of deep colors, subtle reflections and brilliant sky colors.

Here’s a fine example of what happens when an age old doodle becomes a geometric sketch and gets stuck inside your head. The only way to get it out of there is to grab a canvas and some paint. Oh, and a brush or two helps immensely.
