When I was in Kindergarten, my teacher was very concerned that I seemed to express myself during the “coloring” portion of each school day using only red and black crayons.
A parent-teacher conference was scheduled. My parents were very concerned. When asked why I only used red and black crayons, I explained that those were the only colors left in the box when it was my turn to choose.
