5th Anniversary: Cody’s Toy

This canvas was added to the Portfolio on November 27, 2025. Truth be told, I had a good bit of brick-colored paint left over from the painting of “Abby” and, well, I… painted a brick. But Grace came by the studio and immediately named the canvas “Cody’s Toy”. As you will see in the video presented in the Portfolio, we once had a 105-pound German Shepherd in our family. And, for some unknown reason, he greatly enjoyed removing bricks from garden edging and hiking these bricks between his legs. It was all fun and games until the lawn took a severe beating. But we had a companion with his very own form of cardio workout – – and forearms of steel.
