The Perkins County Art Council Mail Art Exhibit and Sale received fifty pieces of art from twenty-seven artists. Five of the accepted pieces of art were from Joseph Criscuoli – “No Laughing Matter”, “Those Shoes” and, in the People’s Choice Awards, 1st Place went to “Montpelier Mansion – Carriage Entrance”; 3rd Place went to “Antietam Bridge”; 4th Place went to “Higgins Lake”.
The Perkins County Area Arts Council operates the Meadowlark Gallery located at 245/246 Central Avenue in downtown Grant, Nebraska. The non-profit organization promotes local, regional, and visiting artists through seasonal exhibits, community open houses, and cultural events.
