Every once in a while elements of several photos can be combined to create an interesting landscape. Such is the case with this painting. I especially enjoyed working with the light and shadows in this piece and the details in the water and rocks.

This is one of those, “Hey, Iʼve been there” paintings. Everyone seems to have been to this place but the location they suggest is always different. The source for this painting, as I recall, was actually between my ears.
