40th Anniversary: Rivers Edge

This canvas was added to the Portfolio on November 15, 1986. A driving tour of southern Charles County, Maryland brought me to the shores of the Potomac River looking down an aged dock and across the river into Virginia. It was so very quiet down there you could actually hear the wind and the river… hard to imagine that this site is just 45 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Washington, D.C.
