A pen-and-ink drawing from my sketchbook of a stylized bird of prey has become a unique addition to my Portfolio.
Measuring 11″ x 18″, “Abby” is my fourth commission and second canine portrait. Abby’s story can be seen in the Portfolio.
Measuring 24″ x 24″, “Playtime” has a unique back story that can be seen in the Portfolio.
Measuring 18″ x 24″, “Holiday Lights” began as an experiment with acrylic spray paint, and evolved into a finished work that encourages one to squint just a bit. Most importantly, it is now complete and has been added to the Portfolio.
Channeling Bob Ross, Tidewater Creek is a departure from my standard level of highly-detailed work. Please don’t be surprised if I paint this image once again and add a more detailed “Tidewater Creek II” to this Portfolio.
At 48″ x 24″, this is a fairly large canvas upon which to explore a unique concept, perhaps my first attempt at “interactive” art.
2024 has been quite a year! Let’s take a look back at the works that have been added to the Portfolio, and look ahead to 2025 with great plans for the images that are forthcoming, and for a new home on the internet for The Studio of Joseph Criscuoli.
A heart broken into a million pieces, each of them small enough to fit through the head of a needle.
